I am Obviate, music producer and enthusiast. I love discovering new music, sharing listening recommendations, and creating both original and remixed music. I pride myself in having a diverse and ever expansive taste in music. Although my scope is mainly electronic, I also enjoy many other classical/non-electronic genres.
I made this neocities website not only to apply my technical interest in coding, but to also foster a hub of discovery, connection, and creativity. It genuinely makes me happy to think that someone, somewhere could discover new and great things as a result of me and/or this site.
This is a solo project that will take me a while to flesh out, especially considering my limited experience with HTML and CSS. Regardless, every improvement, big or small, is an accomplishment.
Some additional things about me in the meantime:
I have been producing for about three years, since 2022. I now use FL studio, but started off with Soundtrap and later transitioned to Audacity and briefly LMMS.
Music has been a keen part of my life since a young age, listening to much EDM and dubstep from the internet. My tastes only compounded and evolved from there.
Music is a medium of expression that does not require, and often communicates deeper than, words, which I often struggle with. My purpose in creating music is to express myself authentically while emulating the very stuff I enjoy listening to.
*This technically should be three seperate entries. However, not only are Sewerslvt and Cynthoni established as the same person, but from personal opinion and discussion I've seen online, AgonyOST could possibly be another alias of the same person. It may never be confirmed and I'll never know, but as a fan of all of their music I notice strikingly identical parallels.
